November 13th
  • Miami, USA to San Jose, Costa Rica @ 7:54
  • San Jose, Costa Rica to Caracas, Venezuela @ 10:20 / arriving around 14:45
  • Caracas, Venezuela @ 18:40 (via Madurin City) > Ciudad Bolivar
  • Evening in a local Posada.
November 14th
  • AM flight from Ciudad Boli­var to Canaima (1 hour and 10 minutes) via a light aeroplane.
  •  Boat trip across the Canaima Lagoon along the waterfalls Ucaima, Wadaima, Golondrinas and Hacha.
  • Visit the TOMAS BERNAL basecamp on the Isla Anatoliy.
  • A two and a half hour hike across the river island to the Playita (small beach) and the waterfalls Sapo (frog) and Sapito (small frog). 
  • Subsequent overnight in the basecamp facing the waterfalls Hacha and Wadaima.
November 15th

  • An AM, 8 seater boat trip up river across the lagoon and a 2 hike to the little port of Ucaima.
  • A four and a half hour boat trip on the rivers Carrao and Churun to the island Ratón.
  • A one and a half hour hike through the jungle to the base of Salto Angel with swimming opportunities in its natural pool. 
  • Hike back to a wonderful open-fire barbeque at the rustic refuge IN FRONT OF ANGEL FALLS.
November 16th
  • AM return to the Canaima lagoon, maybe a quick swim.
  • Bus to Puerto Ordaz for 1:30 min.
  • Flight to Caracas at 21:00.
  • Caracas overnight stay.


November 17th
  • Depart Caracas via private transfer(3-4 hour) to Choroni in Henri Pittier National Park. 
  • Lodging in the Casa Luna for duration of stay.
  • Day at Playa Grande beach.

November 18th
  • Half day trekking tour in H.P rainforest and/or boat excursion to "La Cienaga" lagoon and/or boat excursion to Chuao/Cepe.

November 19th
  • AM private transfer to Caracas
  • Caracas, Venezuela to Cartegena, Colombia @ 18:50 pm / arrive (via Bogota) at 23:40
